Active Holiday

The Czech Republic is not only a country of many monuments with a rich history, but also the ideal destination for taking an active holiday. Your imagination is the limit, with activities available to suit all ages. Climbers are catered for with sandstone rock faces, hikers and winter sports fans in the mountains. The Czech Republic has a wealth of marked tourist trails and cycle paths and is a paradise for Nordic walking and real mountain treks. Golfers are also certainly not short-changed here, with many high quality courses available, often with a view of beautiful landscapes or castles. The Czech Republic is also a country of fishponds and rivers. Navigating rivers is very popular, as is fishing by the banks of the ponds or swimming and windsurfing on the reservoirs. The Czech Republic is also not lagging behind with regards to agrotourism – for example you can combine a stay in a farmhouse with horse riding. There is also a varied offer of camp sites here, where you can spend a holiday within reach of the countryside. Lovers of adrenaline will also find plenty to do – they can try their hand at hang gliding, bungee jumping or quad biking.

Hungary is incredibly diverse, with a variety of landscapes and cultural attractions that are often better discovered by alternative means of transport, such as on horseback, by bicycle, on foot or by canoe - or perhaps even with a round of golf. And the great thing about these holidays is that they afford you complete flexibility – the journey is the destination.

Whether in the mountains, by the sea, alongside lakes or mountain rivers, in the ancient forests of the national parks, or whether walking through flowering meadows, catching glimpses of the distant ribbons of winding rivers, in Poland, you’ll encounter nature in its purest forms. The landscapes in Poland are fascinating and mysterious. Whether on foot, horseback, by bike or jeep, on skis, parachuting, paragliding or by kayak, there are endless ways to explore and challenge the elements.

Although Slovakia is small country, it is an ideal place for active holiday and for relaxation. Travelers who enjoy the beauty of mountain peaks, deep valleys and nature can experience these on the many walks and cycling tours. Fans of water activities will alternatively find white water rivers; calm water hideaways; and mist-clad, mirror-like lakes full of fish. Adrenaline-seekers can enjoy the beauty of Slovakia from a balloon flight; whilst hand-gliding; or even during a parachute descent. After sporting exertions, there are plenty of opportunities for well-deserved and enjoyable relaxation in Slovakia. The calmness of the natural beauty is complemented by healing spa waters and modern aqua parks.
