Representatives of the national tourist boards of the Visegrad Group Countries – Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia will promote tourist attractions of Central Europe to Japanese travel trade and media within series of presentations in Tokio 16th May and Osaka 18th May 2012.

For the first time the Visegrad Group Countries - Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia will organize joint presentation and workshop for Kazakhstani travel trade and media under promotional name “European Quartet – One Melody” taking part in Almaty 24. April 2012.

By signing a Protocol on Cooperation on 14 February 2012, the directors of the national tourism head offices and government representatives of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia confirmed that they will be continuing what is already the ninth year of cooperation between Central European countries of the so-called “Visegrád Group” (V4) in the field of incoming tourism. The countries of the Visegrád Four will this year be making a joint presentation on target markets in the USA, Russia, India, China, Brazil, Japan and Taiwan.
